In short: £5.50 postage per order, sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48 to addresses in mainland Great Britain. Orders are posted within 5 working days. Unopened items can be returned within 14 days.
Delivery
Where I post to
I post to addresses in mainland Great Britain. I am not currently able to post to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands and Islands, the Isle of Man, the Channel Islands, or to any address outside the United Kingdom. If you are unsure whether I can reach you, please email me before ordering.
What it costs
Postage is a flat £5.50 per order, however many items you buy. The cost is shown at checkout before you pay.
How your order is sent
Everything is sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48, so your parcel can be followed from the moment it leaves me.
When your order is sent
Each preparation is made up and packed by hand, so please allow up to 5 working days for your order to be posted. Royal Mail Tracked 48 then aims to deliver within two to three working days of collection.
Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. An order placed at a weekend or on a public holiday is processed from the next working day.
Changing your mind
You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to change your mind, without giving a reason. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
What can be returned
Unopened items only. The preparations I sell are teas, tinctures, syrups, balms, mists and sprays, all of which are either taken internally or applied to the skin. Once a seal has been broken, an item cannot be resold and cannot be accepted back, for health protection and hygiene reasons. The Regulations allow this, and it applies from the moment an item is unsealed. Please do check that you have ordered what you meant to before opening anything.
How to cancel
Email me at ellie@urticaherbal.co.uk within those 14 days and tell me you would like to cancel. You do not need to use any particular form of words, and you do not need to give a reason. I will reply to confirm where to send the items.
Sending the items back
Once you have told me, you have a further 14 days to send the items back. When you are simply changing your mind, return postage is at your own cost. Please keep your proof of postage, and do consider a tracked service. It is the only way to show the parcel was sent.
Your refund
I will refund you within 14 days of the items reaching me, or of you showing me proof that they have been sent, whichever comes first. If you are returning the whole of your order, the refund includes the £5.50 you paid for postage. Refunds are made to the card or account you paid with.
If something arrives damaged or faulty
Please email me at ellie@urticaherbal.co.uk as soon as you can, with a photograph if you are able to take one. I will put it right, normally with a full refund. If I need the item sent back to me, I will cover the cost of that return postage myself.
This section is separate from changing your mind, and it applies whether or not the item has been opened. Nothing on this page affects your statutory rights.
